Polydor Label Group (PLG) has unveiled a series of internal promotions that mark a significant evolution in the company’s structure.
The company said in a statement the latest promotions “underscore its ongoing commitment to championing exceptional talent from within”.
The internal moves have come as Polydor Label Group has seen a run of impressive chart results, including multiple hits for breakthrough star Olivia Dean along with the chart impact for Sam Fender, Sabrina Carpenter, Lewis Capaldi, Lady Gaga and more.
As part of the “commitment to consistent, strategic leadership at the highest level”, Jodie Cammidge has been appointed sole managing director of Polydor Label Group. He will continue to drive the label’s vision, working closely with artists and teams to deliver successful campaigns and long-term growth.
In addition, Paddy Mclean has been promoted to general manager of PLG in recognition of his contributions to the label group’s operational excellence and campaign delivery. His new role will see him take on expanded responsibilities across day-to-day marketing and execution.
Alongside her responsibilities with the PLG international artist roster, including Kendrick Lamar, Jade Bradshaw has moved into the role of general manager of 0207 Def Jam. Her remit includes delivering innovative campaigns and championing talent across UK music and beyond.
The Universal Music UK label group was expanded last summer to include 0207 Def Jam and Capitol as part of a wider company restructure.

In recognition of their impact at Polydor, Helen Fleming and Ali Tant have both been promoted to directors of marketing. PLG said their combined expertise and creative leadership have been instrumental in shaping the label group’s marketing successes for artists including Glass Animals, Florence + The Machine, Holly Humberstone, Michael Kiwanuka, Sam Fender, Lewis Capaldi, Inhaler, Billie Eilish and Good Neighbours.
Further strengthening PLG’s pop credentials, Jamie Ahye has been named head of pop marketing. Ahye has been integral to the delivery of successful campaigns in the pop space, including releases from Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter and Lady Gaga. His new role will allow him to further amplify and shape the label’s presence in this core genre.
Silas Howison-Waughray, who has led campaigns for the likes of Irish dance-pop artist Jazzy, has been appointed director of dance marketing and general manager of Chaos Records. This dual role reflects his pivotal work in driving the label’s dance strategy and overseeing the growing influence and output of Chaos Records.
Finally within 0207 Def Jam, Chloe Kyei has been promoted to senior marketing manager, recognising her contributions to the label’s marketing strategy and her continued championing of culturally impactful projects. Kye’s previous successes include campaigns from Doechii, Chrystal and Playboi Carti.
Ben Mortimer, president, Polydor Label Group, said: “We are incredibly proud to see this group of leaders step into their new roles. Each one of them has made an enormous contribution to our culture, our campaigns, and the continued success of our artists. These promotions are richly deserved and reflect the strength, vision, and creativity that drives everything we do at Polydor Label Group.”
