Olivia Dean has returned to No.1 on the albums chart with The Art Of Loving (Capitol).
It follows the release of an edition of the album with a CD wallet format including two bonus tracks, as well as limited re-pressings of the sold-out alternative artwork vinyl edition and indies exclusive variant.
While that increase in the availability of product delivered a physical sales boost of 97.2% week-on-week, streaming for The Art Of Loving also remained strong. The album was comfortably the most streamed of the week, as well as topping the vinyl chart.
As it returned to No.1, the album added 20,588 units (6,716 physical copies, 172 downloads, 13,700 sales-equivalent streams) to its impressive tally, according to the Official Charts Company. The Art Of Loving has now passed 200,000 units (217,337) following its chart-topping debut in October.
BBC Radio 1 this week named Man I Need as its Biggest Song of 2025. Despite the surge for festive music, the single remains in the Top 10 at No.8, alongside So Easy (To Fall In Love) at No.5 and Sam Fender collaboration Rein Me In at No.7.
Jamie Ahye, head of pop marketing at Polydor Label Group, said: "Olivia’s return to No.1 this week with The Art Of Loving, plus the continued single chart results, are a real testament to the quality of Olivia’s artistry. The album has taken on a life of its own, finding new audiences all over the world and here at home. The team at Capitol are incredibly proud to be on this journey with Olivia, Emily and Sarah [Yo&Co management] and our partners."
