Louise Redknapp has partnered with Absolute Label Services for the release of her sixth studio album.
Absolute is nominated in the Label & Artist Services category at the Music Week Awards 2025.
Confessions will be released on May 23 on her own Lil Lou Records, with Absolute providing a range of services throughout the campaign including marketing, promotion and distribution.
A founding member of Eternal, Louise’s subsequent solo career alone has spanned over 25 years. Her 1996 debut solo album, Naked, peaked at No.7.
After a 20-year hiatus following her second studio album Elbow Beach (2000), Louise returned to music and released her third studio album, Heavy Love (No.11 peak), in January 2020.
Her 30th anniversary in music in 2023 was marked with a greatest hits campaign via BMG, which incorporated new songs, reinvented Eternal material and the solo back catalogue. The collection peaked at No.11.
As well as continuing to record new music, Louise has had two lead acting roles in theatre productions. In 2017, she toured the UK as Sally Bowles in Cabaret before making her West End debut in Dolly Parton’s 9 To 5 The Musical as the lead role of Violet Newstead in The Savoy Theatre. She then reprised the role for the touring version in 2021.
Following this, she joined the play Fatal Attraction and then took on a female interpretation of the Teen Angel in the West End production of Grease at the Dominion Theatre.

Absolute senior label manager Fraser Ealey said: “It’s great to be working with Louise and her team at Massive Management on this exciting new chapter. Her vision and artistry shine through every track on this body of work. Confessions is something truly special!"
Massive Management’s Wayne Russell said: “With Confessions, finding the right home was integral – not just from a distribution perspective, but also creatively thinking out of the box. It was clear that both Fraser and Henry at Absolute understood Louise’s vision from the start.
“This album always came from a place of truth and celebration, and it was so important, both lyrically and sonically, to push boundaries and be unapologetically supportive of a community that has remained loyal, especially in the world we live in today.”
Absolute’s current and recent client base ranges from developing talent such as The Reytons, Immi Dash and Edbl to well-known names including Busted, Tokio Myers, McFly, Alice Cooper, Hybrid Minds, Six The Musical, Thousand Foot Crutch, Sea Power, Bananarama, The Damned, Shaznay Lewis, Kaiser Chiefs and Feeder.
