Key Production Group has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Laura Bessell as its new chief financial officer.
Joining the senior leadership team, Bessell will work alongside COO Neil Gibbons, reporting directly to CEO and founder Karen Emanuel. As CFO, she will be responsible for shaping the leading physical music and creative packaging manufacturing agency’s financial strategy and supporting long-term business growth.
Bessell has more than 25 years of experience in finance, most recently serving as COO at Argonon, an award-winning global production group, where she led UK and international finance teams through periods of expansion and transformation. Her appointment comes as Key Production Group continues to scale operations following expansion into the European market, with the launch of a new German office.
The addition of a new CFO follows a period of strong growth for the company and sees Key Production Group preparing for continued expansion in the market for vinyl and physical music.

The recruitment of Bessell follows the transition of Key Production into an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), where the ownership has been transferred from CEO, Karen Emanuel to the Trust on behalf of the staff. Emanuel remains CEO and Director of both Key Production Group and the Trust.
