Frontiers Music has signed UK rock supergroup Asia.
The band were previously with the Italian rock label for a decade up to 2015.
The new Asia line-up features founding member Geoff Downes, alongside drummer Virgil Donati, guitarist John Mitchell and singer/bassist Harry Whitley.
Songwriter, producer and keyboardist Geoff Downes said: “Asia is thrilled to have recently signed a new deal with Frontiers Music. Having been loyally supported by the label throughout the Asia reunion period from 2005-2015, we are now entering an exciting new chapter in the band’s 45-year history with a sequence of live albums, DVDs and a brand new studio album scheduled for a 2026 release. It’s very much a homecoming for the band, and so we are greatly looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership with them in the future. Watch this space!”

Asia were originally formed in 1982 by John Wetton, Geoff Downes, Carl Palmer and Steve Howe. The band’s self-titled 1982 debut album was the biggest-seller in the US in that year. Their hits included Heat Of The Moment, Only Time Will Tell and Sole Survivor.
In 2006, the founding members reformed Asia and released several new albums. Gravitas, released in 2014 was their last studio album. Lead vocalist and songwriter John Wetton died in 2017.
Frontiers Label Group has worked with acts including Megadeth, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Skunk Anansie, Van Zant, Don Felder, Def Leppard, Journey, Yes, Mr Big, Biohazard, Night Ranger, Whitesnake and ELO, while also signing and developing new talent.
The company operates the imprints Frontiers Music Srl (mainstream and classic rock), FLG Records (alternative music) and BLKIIBLK Records (metal and hard rock) with global digital and physical distribution via The Orchard.
