DJ and producer Marlon Hoffstadt – also known as DJ Daddy Trance – has signed to Capitol Records in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3.
Hoffstadt is managed by Invisible Hand Agency.
He is known for tracks such as It’s That Time, which has amassed over 53 million streams on Spotify and was remixed by Fisher. The Berlin-based artist was named the No.1 most played artist in sets at ADE 2024.
Tom March, chairman & CEO, Capitol Music Group, said: “Marlon and his team have been building something incredibly special; he has risen to become one of the most exciting artists in dance music. We’re thrilled to become part of the team and help amplify his global presence.”
Marlon Hoffstadt said: “It took me years to find my own sound and to find confidence, and it took me even longer to find the perfect label deal for myself. But here we go: Partnering up with the amazing team of Capitol, Goodlife Management, MC3 and my beloved management Invisible Hand, we found a se-tup that makes me feel extremely excited, confident, and thankful to be a part of. This definitely is the biggest achievement of my career and I‘m so damn ready for it!“
The label has released Hoffstadt’s new double single, Supersonic / Hands Up In The Sky. Produced by Hoffstadt and co-producer Morten Aamodt, the track features vocals by Swedish singer-songwriter Emma Skøien. Hoffstadt wrote the track with co-producers Free Jimi, Xoro and vocalist Rhys.
Hoffstadt, who is also co-founder of the label Club Heart Broken, recently made his US live debut at EDC Las Vegas, where he closed out the main stage. He will headline Knockdown Centre in Brooklyn this weekend (May 24).
He sold out 20,000 tickets for his upcoming Belgium show with Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Ki/Ki in August. There are upcoming dates in Barcelona and London.
