Cooking Vinyl have signed Scottish singer-songwriter Callum Beattie to a worldwide artist services deal.
New music is planned for release in 2025 along with a sold-out headline show at OVO Hydro arena in Glasgow November.
“Cooking Vinyl just feels like a natural home for me – working with great people who absolutely get what I am all about,” said Callum Beattie. “It’s a rare thing in the business, and I feel very honoured to be part of it.”
“Callum has always had the potential to be huge and with these new songs he has reinvented himself – I can unequivocally say they eclipse anything he has released so far,” said Cooking Vinyl MD Rob Collins. “Already a legend in Scotland, we aim to springboard from that into the UK and worldwide.”
“We’ve come from selling 30 tickets four years ago to a sold out OVO Hydro in Glasgow with no financial support. Now just felt like the right time to do this deal,” said manager David Rogers. “It feels great to be part of a truly collaborative company.”

Beattie released his debut single, We Are Stars, in 2017. His debut album, People Like Us (2020), topped the Scottish albums chart, followed by his second album, Vandals (2023), which also achieved the No.1 spot in Scotland.
Cooking Vinyl has released albums by Shed Seven, Roger Waters, Passenger, Jack Garratt, Nina Nesbitt, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Billy Bragg, The Darkness, Del Amitri, Babymetal, The Prodigy, James Morrison and many more.
The label secured two Shed Seven No.1 albums in 2024. It follows success with Nina Nesbitt surpassing 600 million streams, as well as Passenger securing a No.2 UK Album (alongside European Top 10s), Del Amitri charting at No.5 and the US and Babymetal making a US impact.
