Sienna Spiro has returned to her UK chart peak with global hit Die On This Hill (Capitol/Method).

The single climbed a place to No.9 on the new chart with consumption up 9.7% week-on-week. Die On This Hill has consumption to date of 272,152 units, according to the Official Charts Company.

The UK artist is also pushing for a Top 20 US Hot 100 hit with Die On This Hill, which reached a new peak of No.21 last week.

The track has amassed 144 million streams on Spotify and is currently at a peak of No.9 on the streaming giant’s Global chart. Spiro has 21.8 million monthly followers on Spotify.

The rising UK star is interviewed in the new edition of Music Week alongside her label, Capitol in the US, and management at Method.

Spiro has already been shortlisted for the BRITs Critics’ Choice award.

“This is shaping up to be an incredible breakthrough year for Sienna globally,” said Tom March, Capitol Music Group chairman & CEO. “Die On This Hill is a growing hit in every market in the world and millions of people are falling in love with Sienna’s voice. We’ll continue to build on this success through the year. We already have sold-out global touring and our plans locked in.”

Following US dates in March, Spiro has a short run of sold-out UK shows including London’s Roundhouse.

Success is not based on a single hit for Spiro, who has another US Hot 100 single with You Stole The Show. In the UK, Spiro currently has three Top 75 singles with Die On This Hill (No.9), You Stole The Show (No.27) and Maybe (No.52).

Spiro has also established a following of 1.7 million on TikTok.

“Capitol Music Group is the right home because we’re fully focused on artist development and growing our roster,” said March. “I believe that is showing in the new artists we are breaking.”

Spiro’s breakout success follows her studies at ELAM (East London Arts & Music) academy, whose alumni include members of FLO and Girli. It was where she met her manager, Miriam Maslin, of Method Music

“Sienna’s had a great, close-knit team backing her right from the start,” Maslin told Music Week. “The key to her success so far has been in the culmination of hard work, drive and talent. We’re incredibly excited for her to write her first album and look forward to an even stronger year ahead.”

Spiro ended up signing a label deal with Capitol Records in the US, as well as a publishing agreement with Sony Music Publishing

“Sienna was the first signing for Lillia [Parsa, president, Capitol Music Group] and me when we came to Capitol,” said Tom March. “We were both blown away by her voice and knew straight away we had to sign her. I remember in our first week we were chatting and we asked each other if we had heard of Sienna Spiro. She had no music out but we had both independently met her before starting work together. We also both love working with the team at Method, so it really was a no-brainer.”
