ADA MD Howard Corner salutes success across genres in 2025

ADA UK managing director Howard Corner has told Music Week that his team is “as focused, motivated and hungry as we’ve ever been” in the wake of a busy start to 2025.

The label and artist services business recently celebrated a Top 10 album for Music Week cover star Nemzzz and Corner (pictured above with his team and recent signing Songer) believes ADA has “the best roster of contemporary rap music in the UK”.

“With new projects to come from Meekz, Knucks, Tunde, Fimiguerrero, Abra Cadabra, Kidwild and others we’re going to continue setting the pace in this space,” Corner added.

Reflecting on ADA’s recent releases he said: “It’s been a fantastic start to the year, full of great music and amazing outcomes both in the UK and internationally. We’re all absolutely delighted with the Nemzzz result, it's a great partnership and everyone involved contributed to a superb campaign.”

He added: “Our team here in the UK and around the world is as focused, motivated and hungry as we’ve ever been and we’ve achieved some incredible things in so many different genres."

Corner puts the cross genre success down to “the dynamic, nimble and smart group we have here, and our amazing partners”.

"I’d like to thank the team for all for their incredible work and to all our new partners for putting their trust in us,” he said. “It’s been a brilliant first quarter of 2025 and there’s so much more to come.”

Nemzzz’s Rent’s Due mixtape entered the chart at No.6, also achieving chart placings in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands and New Zealand. ADA’s data shows that 80% of the Manchester MC’s streams come from outside the UK, while his catalogue has now amassed more than a billion streams.

Among ADA’s rap roster, KidWild has notched more than 30 million streams since January, while Songer and Meekz have signed new album deals, with more music on the way.

ADA’s new signings in dance and electronic include Claptone & Badger and Wilkinson, while the company has partnered with Sonny Fodera and his label/management team Palm/Solotoko.

Sonny Fodera’s Jazzy and DOD collaboration Somedays hit No.5 last year and has 702,324 sales to date. ADA’s new dance releases include Josh Baker’s Back It Up, Mau P’s The Less I Know The Better, Levi’s Birthday Sex and Hannah Laing’s 4AM In A Rave. Adam Beyer, Camelphat, Dimension, Elderbrook, Faithless, Gorgon City, Shy FX and more are all set to release new music this year.

ADA has also struck deals with Ear Music, Nuclear Blast, Silver Lining and Unpopular Music, while new albums are due from The K’s and Venna.
