Spotify is expanding into the fitness market.
The new category will introduce guided workout experiences to the Spotify ecosystem, alongside music, podcasts, audiobooks and video.
Free and premium users will now have access to dozens of curated playlists, as well as content from established wellness creators including Yoga With Kassandra, Caitlin K’eli Yoga, Sweaty Studio, Chloe Ting, Pilates Body By Raven, Abi Mills Wellness, Sophiereidfit, and others.
Through a new partnership with Peloton, premium users in supported markets will gain access to a growing catalogue of more than 1,400 ad-free, on-demand workout classes from the online fitness platform’s instructors as part of their existing subscription. The catalogue spans strength, cardio, yoga, and meditation with no requirement for specialised equipment.
We are expanding Spotify to become a true daily wellness companion

To launch the new workout experiences, Spotify has teamed up with British creators in a new film to showcase the breadth of Spotify's workout content.
According to Spotify, 70% of premium users work out monthly and there are already more than 150 million fitness playlists active globally. Fitness and workout content is ranked among the top use cases for Spotify’s recently launched Prompted Playlist feature.
"For nearly two decades, Spotify has been the soundtrack to the world's workouts," said Roman Wasenmüller, VP, global head of podcasts. "Today, we are expanding Spotify to become a true daily wellness companion. By bringing thousands of creators and partners like Peloton directly into our video and audio ecosystem, we are investing in a future where Spotify isn’t just where you spend your time – it’s where you go to build momentum, improve your wellbeing, and get more out of every day."
Spotify users can open the app and search “fitness” to access the Fitness hub in order to explore classes and curated playlists.
