Spotify has released its Q4 earnings figures with the company highlighting its strong user growth and performance across all metrics.
In Q4 2025, Spotify delivered the highest net additions of monthly active users (MAUs) in its history – 38 million. Spotify now reaches 751 million monthly active users.
The streaming giant also achieved double-digit subscriber growth in the quarter – up nine million on the prior quarter to 290m. Q4 saw Spotify’s biggest ever edition of Wrapped.
Total monthly active users have increased by 11% year-on-year, while premium subscribers are up 10% year-on-year.
Spotify is forecasting that it will reach 759m MAUs and 293m premium subscribers in Q1 of 2026.
Revenue increased by 13% year-on-year on a constant currency basis to €4.5 billion. Operating income in Q4 was €701m, compared to €477m a year earlier.
“Overall, we are pleased with our performance heading into 2026 and view the business as well positioned to deliver growth and improving margins as we reinvest to support our long-term potential,” stated Spotify’s financial report.
In addition to a vast music catalogue, Spotify now has seven million podcast titles, more than 530,000 video podcast shows and 500,000-plus audiobooks in English language markets.
The company recently reported that it had paid out $11 billion to the music industry in 2025, with $70bn paid out since launch.
