Merlin partners with Coda Music platform to drive fan engagement

Merlin has partnered with Coda Music, a new platform that has set out to redefine how fans connect with artists and discover music. 

Through the agreement between Coda Music and the independent sector’s digital music licensing partner, members’ premium music catalogue will help to power the platform’s to drive deeper fan engagement and community-driven music discovery.

Coda Music aims to bridge the gap between traditional streaming services and social communities. 

“Coda Music is reimagining streaming as an interactive, artist-led experience, where fans discover music through community-driven recommendations, discussions and exclusive content,” said a statement. “The platform’s unique social ecosystem enhances discovery while allowing artists to cultivate more meaningful relationships with their audiences.”

Artists can engage with fan communities, including sharing exclusive behind-the-scenes content. Coda Music also introduces fan-driven discovery, where users follow both artists and fellow fans. The platform’s Music Personality Profiles track user preferences, making it easier for listeners to find new favourites while connecting with like-minded fans.
