Blackstar Agency has launched a new initiative to connect independent creators to artists & labels.
The Blackstar Creator Vault is a “standalone solution to meet the rapidly growing demand for quality, reactive creators in the music industry”, according to the announcement. It provides labels and artists with access to professionals specialising in short-form content, stills and tour coverage, while addressing challenges such as insurance and contracting.
For creators, the initiative ensures prompt and reliable payment; for partners, it offers peace of mind with comprehensive insurance coverage and streamlined contracting and billing processes.
Dan Alani, head of creative at Blackstar, said: “From our vast experience working with the best and brightest creatives in the industry, we recognised many areas that could be improved for both the creative talent and the client. The Blackstar Creative Vault is our first step in fixing these issues, and ensuring the process remains enjoyable, reactive and trustworthy for everybody involved.”

Olivia Hobbs, founder, added: “My proudest inclusion here is the code of conduct; it goes both ways and if we want to keep the playing field level, we need to facilitate a space for safety, professionalism and good conduct. It simply has to be a priority for creators and acts alike in 2025.”
Supported by Blackstar’s Award-winning creative team, the Creator Vault begins in London with expansion planned in Q2 2025 to include verified creators in New York City and LA.
Founded in 2018 by the 2021 winner of the Music Week Women in Music Entrepreneur Award, Olivia Hobbs, Blackstar has risen to prominence as an award-winning marketing agency for the music industry. It has an ever-growing roster of top-tier and breakout artists in the UK and the USA.
