Bandsintown For Artists Marketplace launches with curated tech solutions to help reach more fans

The Bandsintown For Artists Marketplace has gone live offering a centralised hub of services for independent acts.

The platform is designed to help artists reach fans globally with their tour dates, own their fan data and drive revenue internationally.

In the announcement, Bandsintown said that it will address challenges including navigating unpredictable algorithms, as well as avoiding over-reliance on paid advertising.

“The Bandsintown For Artists Marketplace addresses these challenges with a curated selection of tech solutions that integrate seamlessly with Bandsintown For Artists, a service that empowers musicians to publish events, announce tours, manage presales and on-sales, and promote concerts across their digital properties,” said a statement.

The Bandsintown For Artists Marketplace allows independent artists to:

– Publish tour dates on Bandsintown and across major search and streaming platforms, including Apple Maps, Apple Music, Bing, Google, Shazam, Spotify and YouTube. Tour dates also sync to link-in-bio tools like Feature.fm and Linktree and website platforms like Bandzoogle, Squarespace, Wix, and WordPress.

– Collect fan opt-ins using Bandsintown tools and sync their data across marketing/CRM platforms of their choice, including tools like Community, Kit, Cobrand, Openstage and Rivet.

– Display merch on their Bandsintown page to boost sales with Amazon Music Merch and Shopify integrations.

– Discover curated tools to distribute their music and get playlisted, including CD Baby, DistroKid, Groover, Musixmatch, Rostr, SymphonyOS, Too Lost, TuneCore, Un:hurd and UnitedMasters.

“We are on a mission to help artists connect with fans and build careers on their own terms," said Fabrice Sergent, co-founder and managing partner of Bandsintown Group. "The Marketplace takes that mission further by ensuring artists don't just reach billions of fans – they own those relationships and can activate them across every tool in their workflow. We're proving that platforms can prioritise both massive scale and artist empowerment. It doesn't have to be one or the other.”

By integrating and aligning their platforms, partners can offer more value to Bandsintown artists while growing their own user base.

Bandsintown has a 700,000-strong global artist community and 100 million registered fan users. It connects with 65,000 venues publishing 2.3 million events annually.
