Apple’s 50th anniversary celebrations continued last night in London with performances by Mumford & Sons and Nia Archives.
Mumford & Sons, who landed their fourth No.1 album last month with Prizefighter, performed in front of the iconic Battersea Power Station alongside the River Thames.
With an introduction by Apple Music 1 host Dotty, they performed a hit-packed set which included Little Lion Man, White Blank Page and I Will Wait, as well as tracks from the new album such as Rubber Band Man.
The band recently joined Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in Los Angeles to discuss the making of Prizefighter.
Ahead of the band’s performance, DJ, producer, singer and songwriter Nia Archives played a DJ set from the balcony of the former power station. Featured as a UK Up Next artist on Apple Music in 2022, she has since been at the forefront of the jungle scene resurgence.

A user of Apple’s Logic Pro, Nia Archives has created remixes for the likes of Jorja Smith, PinkPantheress, Fred Again.. and Jamie xx.
Closing the event, a reimagining of the iconic Apple logo for the 50th celebrations was projected onto the iconic Battersea Power Station, lighting up London.
Apple kicked off celebrations for its 50th anniversary earlier this month with a special performance by 17-time Grammy-winning artist and producer Alicia Keys at Apple Grand Central in New York City.
Throughout March, the company is commemorating the milestone around the world. Other celebrations so far this month have included events in Bangkok, Seoul, Sydney, China and Washington DC.
